3 Tips to a Stress Free Session
1. BOOK A LONGER SESSION
I know I know, I can already hear you saying, "My child won't last that long."
What's better? Expecting your child to perform for 15 minutes straight or allowing them more time to take snack breaks and warm up as needed? In my 10 years of experience, the most stunning images come out of full, 1-2 hour sessions. Longer sessions are always a good idea. It also allows me time to learn about your babes. Do they like dinosaurs? I'll make fun Dino noises. Do they need a good bribe? Fine by me!
2. DRESS COMFORTABLY

Stree Free session tips
An uncomfortable child is not going to give me real smiles. When you dress your babe in really tight or itchy clothing - you are limiting their comfort zone and comfort is HUGE during a family photoshoot. I know I know, the outfit you found is so cute, but you know what's cuter: a happy, smiley baby! Comfort always wins. Opt for a comfortable linen set - it allows for better family cuddles anyway!

3. TRUST ME (YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER)
You hired me for a reason. You viewed my portfolio, you liked what you saw, so you booked a session. You need to trust the process. The poses, even if they feel awkward at first - are tried and true. If you spend our session questioning my abilities or suggesting poses I am not comfortable with - you might as well have set your iPhone on a tripod and taken your own photos. Over 100 families have hired and trusted me as their family photographer. My portfolio is proof. Make sure to read those reviews!
